The 25th IPMA Congress recently brought together nearly 1200 national and international project management delegates together for the annual international congress this year held in Brisbane. This was a unique opportunity to better understand  project management issues and challenges and was the impetus behind the inaugural PM Insights Survey.

The scope of survey included the link between strategy and delivery, the future of Project Management and the value of PMOs as well as exploring some of the less tangible aspects of successful project delivery including change management, dealing with conflict and the significance of wellbeing.

The survey raced off to an exciting start, garnering almost 300 respondents in just five days. This momentum continued throughout the conference, spurred on by publicity efforts which included another first, in the IPMA conference app, and also via unrelenting promotion at our exhibitor stand, and prominent place on the AIPM social media sites.

Every survey respondent will receive a copy of the detailed results with and the findings will be widely circulated throughout the project management community.
