blueVisions successfully project managed the complete building and services work to upgrade DSTO’s Pyrmont facility in preparation for the sale of the site. Throughout the project blueVisions team worked closely with both Defence and the heritage authorities to ensure that the building satisfied all the required codes and legislations.

 


HMAS Waterhen

blueVisions developed the detailed business case and project plan for the refurbishment of the Mine Warfare and Clearance Diving Systems Program office accommodation at HMAS Waterhen.

blueVisions is currently providing a range of training courses to the department of Defence. We are the current supplier of both Fundamentals of Project Management and Diploma of Project Management training courses to the DMO Institute.

 


Relocation of No.1 Commando Coy

Relocation of No. 1 Commando Company

blueVisions project managed the complete relocation of No. 1 Commando Company to HMAS Penguin. This relocation project included significant facility modifications at HMAS Penguin in order to accommodate the special requirements of the unit including; storage facilities, armouries and office/barracks facilities.

 


 

AWD/LHD Home Port Facilities

Client: Point Project Management (PM/CA)

The purchase and construction of the Hobart Class AWD and Canberra Class LHD are two of the largest projects currently being completed by Defence. These ships have requirements for shore based infrastructure support including maintenance and training facilities. blueVisions  reviewed and analysed the infrastructure delivery program to ensure that it was accurate complete and did not expose the Commonwealth to unnecessary risk.

 


 

 

HMAS Albatross Redevelopment

Client: URS Australia

HMAS Albatross is the home of the Fleet Air Arm and soon to be the home of the combined ADF Helicopter Training School. The base is about to undergo significant redevelopment to both infrastructure and facilities. blueVisions were engaged to provide a review and analysis of the delivery program to ensure that it was correct, accurate and minimised delays.
