National Broadband Network (NBN)

The Australian Government is investing up to $43 billion over eight years delivering superfast broadband nationally. NBN Co will build and operate the network, providing 90 percent ‘fibre to the premises’ coverage and delivering speeds of 100 megabits per second Australia wide. Willunga, South Australia is one of the first release sites.

The Hutchison 3G initiative delivered ground breaking technology and services to the Australian public. The management challenges included unprecedented technology and business processes, which needed to be built from the ground up in a program of over 2,000 projects, for the successful launch of a $3bn business.
