Forbes St Sewage Treatment Plant

The renewal of the Forbes sewage treatment plant involved the civil, structural, piping, mechanical, membrane, electrical, safety and other works.


Jindabyne Dam Spillway
Client: Belmadar Construction 
Lake Jindabyne receives the flow from the Snowy River as well as its tributaries to support the development of primary industries inland. This sensitive and complex civil project was to increase the flow of water into the Snowy to 28%.

Mildura Water Treatment Plant
Client: Belmadar Construction  
The Mildura Treatment Plant was the first in Australia to use new treatment processes capable of dealing with blue green algal toxin compounds. It uses a ‘sacrificial’ carbon filter, a filter only used when necessary, specifically in the case of algal blooms.


Replacement Flows Project
Client: Leighton and Veolia Water Consortium
One of Australia’s largest residential and industrial water recycling schemes, this project connects the Penrith, St Marys and Quakers Hill sewage treatment plants by pipes to allow treated waste water from the three plants to be further treated at a new advanced water treatment plant at St Marys.


Shoalhaven Transfer Scheme
Client: Sydney Catchment Authority
This project was commissioned to balance the water supply needs of the Sydney, Illawarra, Blue Mountains, Shoalhaven and Southern Highland communities, while protecting the health of the Shoalhaven River and rivers in the Southern Highlands.


Southern Seawater Alliance Project
Client: Worley Parsons 
This project will double the capacity of the Southern Seawater Desalination Plant outside Binningup to provide urgently needed new water for the Integrated Water Supply Scheme that supplies Perth, Mandurah, the Goldfields and towns along the way to Kalgoorlie.
